WEEEEEEEEEEEE! I am so excited. Decision-making time around the corner. More like in the next few days. I'm most likely going to choose SCCO, but I'll take the time to ponder knowing that I have actual choices! :)
Series of events today -- none really. Just went to order a lei down the street and bought take-out from a Chinese place.
You know what is truly amazing right now? Pandora's holiday music channel. It really puts me in the spirit of Christmas. Also, earlier I was listening to the oldies channel. ALSO amazing!
I'm enjoying my new dSLR, but I can't wait to go outside and try taking pics. Consider I'm not trying to be a photographer or a professional at that either. I just wanted a camera that could take wayyy nicer pics :) I am being very cautious with it. Nobody touches it with oily/dirty hands and if anyone drops it, they pay! I recently was invited to join Dr. Munroe's SCCO Class of 2014 Facebook page. On there, accepted students have joined as well and wrote a small introduction about themselves, so I did it too. It looks like everyone is really nice and I genuinely am very excited to meet our class. See, I'm already calling myself an SCCO student, he he.
Hopefully next time, I'll have some pics from the SLR posted up, so you can see my sheer non-talent in the area, haha!
Still trying to get into the groove of things. I'm trying to understand everything going on around me and trying to be understanding at the same time. I'm trying to also stay healthy, as I have no health insurance. So far, so good. I miss home and I miss my relaxation time at home. However, I am really glad I get to spend Christmas here. I'll do my best to make it a good one this year. Happy Holidays!
