Anyway, back to the real world. I haven't really had the chance to explore Seattle yet, but I will ... little by little. From what I've seen so far, it seems like a kind and clean city! I've explored the ave and the UW campus. Loving all the food I've tasted so far as well -- MEE SUM PASTRY, CEDAR's, VILLAGE SUSHI, and GENKI rotary SUSHI. Genki Sushi was so cheap for rotary sushi. I guess I'm just used to Guam's Rotary Sushi which seems so expensive!
I've officially booked a round trip ticket to SF from May 18-June 1. No matter where I am, I'm always missing SF. I don't if it's because I love the city or because Younson's there, haha! Nah, I think it's a mixture of both. That's also the USF grad, so at least I'll get to see Rex and Shawn graduate.
I had a camera panic attack the other day when I was at the park with AJ. I took my camera with me to Green Lake to take pics while she was going to run. So I turned on my camera to take a picture of the beautiful lake in front of my eyes, pressed the shutter halfway, and NOTHING HAPPENS! Somehow, the auto focus was locked! Not that I set it on the camera itself, it was really stuck. It couldn't move. When the shutter was pressed halfway, you could hear the lens trying to focus, but it couldn't. Some random guy decided he wanted to help me with my dilemma and AJ was worried he was going to run off with my camera. He... didn't know what he was doing. Afterwards, we went back to the apt and I quickly went online to check if anyone else had the same problem. I couldn't find any discussions that houses my dilemma so I decided to just take a good, hard look at my camera and ask myself how I would fix it. Since the auto focus wasn't moving, I thought to myself, why not just give it a little nudge. I didn't think it would actually work, but it did! I breathed a DEEP sigh of relief. I'm still paranoid about the situation happening again, so every morning I turn it on to check if it's okay. I still don't know what causes that to happen. Oh well!
And ... back to homework :)
