Impossible

I think it's an interesting trait how we think that people have the capacity to change. I am here to tell you that the one person I trust the most in this world has not changed his ways. There was a time where I just let it go as a petty misunderstanding that could have been avoided had I been more understanding about the situation. My thinking is completely wrong. I used to feel bad about getting annoyed or frustrated and I would quickly call him thereafter to make sure all was okay. No, I don't feel the need to do it anymore, because I haven't done anything wrong. It feel like a power play -- why does there need to be a power play in the first place? Why do you need to feel like you have the power? We make up this relationship, together. Man up to the mistakes and let's move on. 


I deserve something better. I won't give in to the selfishness that keeps people from realizing what's most important.
